Hi guys. I need a good 403 block that will clean up nice at .030 overbore. I live in Shelton, WA near Olympia. Let me know what you have and your location.

My friend builds a LOT of 403’s. He’s probably bought at least 12 this year and 80% of them have had a crack between the water jacket and head bolt hole(can’t remember exact placement).
He’s been going crazy locating good blocks.

Thanks for the response. I have actually used blocks with a crack at the head bolt without issue depending upon severity of course.

 

I have a complete 403 just a high mileage engine.
