Looking for a nice set with the reliefs for the brake booster
and a/c box that look like these. For the big block A body.
Also still searching for a nice W exhaust manifold as well.

I would LOVE to see that
it's a pet project I started on
I got as far as cutting out the donor embossed part.

Original poster- There is a LH W and a RH W xst man, man
one assumes you need the LH W of a W-Z set.

Chris, correct, left hand W exh. manifold to mate with my r/h Z.
Notched embossed Oldsmobile v/c's would be way cool, make some.
I have a good friend down here with a foundry at his disposal. Hmmm.

how does a foundry help?
are you thinking cast aluminum?

I was thinking cut the pc out and weld it in, then smooth to suit. The problem is getting the weld leakless. TIG would be the way to go, and the project just got pretty expensive starting with the notched rocker covers then an embossed set to donate that part. Most of which are poorly struck and with a weak E.

Maybe a better way would be to make the characters and attach them to the exterior w/o welding. Unfortunately I just sold my last embossed cover with really good lettering.

Weld them notched covers with embossed part to build a pattern to cast in aluminum was what i was thinking!! But epoxy letters to a notched cover to make a pattern would be better! I just spilled the beans!
