I am looking for a trunklid for a 47 olds coupe 2door.
Mine has been cut in 2 and is damaged.
I know chevy of the 40s makes them in fibreglas but I prefer steel.
anywhere in the world is good.

Do you guys know if the chevy trunklid is the same as the olds?

I might have found a chevy deck lid.
Just wanted to double check if this will fit the olds as well. Just to know before i have it shipped over.
They are both 2 door coupes, look exacly the same just want to be sure

 

Hello everybody.
I wanted to ask if somebody could please confirm that the chevy trunklid and olds trunklid are a match.
It will cost me a lot to get it over the big pound so would be a shame if it is for nothing.

If your coupe is a 66 or 68 series the Chevy trunklid is the same. If its a 76 or 78 series the Chevy will not work.

It has been a while but just wanted to say that everything worked out and this winter the trunklid that 6262 . adviced is coming overseas in a crate!!
