I'm looking for a clean trunk lid for my 71 442 convertible. The one I have is too rusty. I'm in Virginia and can travel.

I got mine a few years ago from a salvage place in Arizona, I think it was called Desert Dog or something like that. I believe the 4 door lids will also fit the convertibles.

Search here posts on the reproduction lids, seems to be an issue with fit around the lock

 

Rich, I have one that is rust free on the outside but towards the very rear on the inside it has rust. Phoenix original but someone had glued foam on the inside because they had a boom box in the trunk, with bad drainage caused it to rust in spots. Its has dirt on the sides from sitting, not pitting like the photo looks like.

i am also looking for correct 71 convertible trunk lid. Has to have factory holes for the 10 OLDSMOBILE letters.
I already have the 70 version installed.
