Throttle dashpot

Hey all, I am in search of a throttle dashpot for my 1966 Toronado. These appear to be very hard to come by, and I threw mine out because the diaphragm must've been sticky or partially torn because it caused idle issues. From what I understand, they are not rebuildable, which is why I gave up on mine and threw it out. I know most people don't bother with putting them back on, but being the oddball I am, I'd like to make my car as factory correct as reasonably possible. If anybody has any information or leads, please let me know. Factory part number is 392902. Thank you!

Possible the part number 392902 may have been superseded? At any rate, I'm not certain this part will work...there may exist a possibility &/or these listings are incorrect. Worth a look anyways.

Unfortunately the Toronado received a specific dashpot that is different from all other Oldsmobiles. Part is listed as obsolete as far back as 1981 in an Oldsmobile parts history catalog

Yes, I found the part number in GMPartsWiki catalogs demonstrating discontinued (used on Toronado model years 1966-67). Good Luck!

I found one in stock NOS. $275. I might have a useable used one considerably cheaper but this is the only one in my stash. Let me know. dead@mchsi.com
