Thermostat housing

I have a couple of these as you can see. They are in just OK shape and would probably work but wondering if anyone has something better? I can't seem to find the #5 repop if its made?

My zip is 01756

So, you are looking for the early models, that take the longer "J" hose? Let me check my inventory for a nice one.

You're correct Scrappie - the #5 housing isn't repro'd. #5's have centered outlets and the repro offered by Fusick, etc is the earlier "offset" outlet design that will work but won't be technically correct (as well as not being made of the same material as the originals which may matter since you may be installing and leaving it bare.

There are at least three different versions of this outlet. There is one that is offset to the bolts, one that is centered to the bolts, and one that the large inlet is more verticle than the others. And there are more than #5 castings...#4, #2.

If Rocketman269V doesn't have one I'm pretty sure I do. Bob, let me know if you come up empty.

Are you looking to maintain originality? I have a couple brand new chrome ones that resemble the ones in your post as well. I bought them for a trans am with a 403, but the T/A has a completely different offset. Just throwing it out there. There doing me no good on the shelf.
