Searching for a tail panel for a 65 f85 cutlass. Anybody know where to get one?

 

searching for tail LIGHT panel for 65 f85 cutlass. Would a 64 tail light panel fit on a 65? are the holes for the taillights the same size?? Any help appreciated!

 

Are you needing the steel panel between the tail lights? If not, can you post a picture for us showing what you need?

 

64/65 rear pot metal tail panel are very different and the lights are different.

Rear panel are around usually not in the best condition
Here is one on eBay there are a few guys that most likely have okay driver ones for a fair price

I don't want the pot metal trim piece. I'm looking for the sheetmetal piece . I'm sure I would have to get from a doner car.

This is the only piece I have...just the center section.

 

That would be a start for me. I'm going to look some more, but I'll certainly keep this in mind. Is this a nice, non dented not hit piece? Thanks.

 

Its going to be hard to find more than what Peter is offering. To get the end pieces would mean taking the ends off quarter panels. There's a big demand for good quarter panels and removing the ends would kill the value on them

 

Perhaps you can post a picture of what you're up against on your car?

 

Never knew there would be a need for those, sorry I crushed at lease four of them. Bummer.

 

I've sold three of them over the years. I know I have too much clutter but hate to scrap anything that isn't rotten or smashed! What's the saying, something can sit in the garage for 10 years but two weeks after you toss it you need it!
