T 3 Bulbs

Looking for 1 pr of 67 Lowbeam T3 bulbs. Something clear and presentable for my car. Dont have to be for a 67, I would be happy with the later ones from 68-72 slightly different design, most people would never know, I never knew until I researched them. Just need some that work and look decent.

thanks, Matt

Fusick sells them, and I believe they're new reproductions. They'd be the correct-looking ones for your car, and, being new, they'll likely last a while. Anything you get used could fail any time.

The only negative is that they sell them as only a single hi-beam/lo-beam pair, so to get two lo-beams, you'll have to buy two pair. So replace all four, and you've got four new, correct-looking headlights that should last a while. Nothing wrong with that.

That's $50 apiece, which is about the going rate on ebay.

I have a box full that has been checked good. I probably have a pair for 66/67. I will check if you're still looking.

Low beam T-3's are much harder to find used than hi beams .
This is probably because low beams are used almost constantly , where hi beams are not used nearly as much .
Many GM cars still have their original T-3 hi beams 50 years on . Where the low beams will have been replaced with other bulbs .
Fusick could sell low beams individually , but there is more profit in selling you a pair (one which you will need and one which you will not ) .

I looked today and can't find the box. We moved and I still have parts @ my old house. I will try to go by tomorrow and see if it's there.

This occurred to me. It seems it would make more sense that, if you're going to sell them in pairs at all (which is unnecessary, as you say), why not a pair of lo-beams or a pair of hi-beams instead of one of each? It's just Fusick being Fusick. You love them and hate them at the same time.

To their credit , Fusick will sell you only two . Everyone else wants to sell you all four or nothing .
I found the manufacturer of these bulbs is Lectric Limited.
Here is an explanation , from their websight , as to why all four ;
