steering wheel 1972 cutlass

Looking for a replacement sport steering wheel.
Does not need to be mint, my cars a well loved driver.

I have a good horn pad and will be happy to cover the ring with a leather lace on, just need to get back on the road. Mine is black.

FYI- Mine broke a the weld between the cross and the ring when I tried to remove it before grabbing the puller from the toolbox. It did not seem like such a big tug. doooh!

Thanks,

Mike

I have a bunch of steering columns/wheels down here in South Florida. Do you have a pic/image of the wheel that you are looking for? I can never remember which year is which . I have wheels of varying quality. We get up to Port St. Lucie on a regular basis. Thanks, Bob.

I have that wheel in black, complete with horn pad. Not perfect but way better than what's in your picture. Are you ok with cross border shipping? I'll get some pics and post them for you.

This wheel was removed from my 72 Cutlass S and stored in a cool location. It's not perfect, but have a look and tell me if it's what you'd like.

1972 Steering Wheel c/w pad. 2 small cracks in wheel shown in following pics

1972 Steering Wheel, back side. No cracks in cross plastic

1972 Steering Wheel. Crack in outside second of wheel. Note: outer layer of clear is cracking, to be expected from an old part, but the underlying silver is completely intact.

1972 Steering Wheel. Small Crack in side of wheel. Silver underlay completely intact. Clear overlay is yellowed and cracked with age.
