SSII wheels
Looking to purchase
15" SSII wheels for my 69 442.
currently I have 14's in it and want to swap my power drums to disc..
I see a lot of SSI for sale but they look too much like Chevy rims.

Your car looks sharp with those SSII's. I just installed a new set of SSII (period correct) on my 72. They're 14" as well and surprise surprise I didn't have trouble finding those BFG's you have at Costco for a steal of a deal. Love the way they ride and handle.
I know Wheel Vintiques makes the SSI in a 15". And yes the wheel looks a lot like a lot of wheels of the period whether you choose Ford, Chev or Chrysler. .To keep your speedo and odometer correct you would have to change the new wheel height.
Good luck with the search,

The 14x7 wheels should clear factory disk brakes. That’s what those cars had when new. I believe the 14x6 were 68 only. If your going aftermarket that changes things. I think I read recently that some aftermarket stuff has clearance problems with 15’s also, so be careful.
