Are you looking for a chrome 15x7 SSII or a regular SSII? I assume you're looking for bolt on caps since you said SSII and not SSIII.

Place a "parts wanted post". You'll get a lot more interest that way than buried in this old thread

Question SS2 rims

So, you want a "set" of two wheels, correct? Do you need trim rings and center caps? E-mail me direct: drolds1@bellsouth.net. Thanks, Bob.

I merged your two threads. Be aware that the only difference between SSII and SSIII wheels is the paint color - SSII were argent, SSIII were lower body color. The 15x7 SSII/III wheels with bolt-on centers were only made in the 1973-74 model years, which is why they are hard to find and expensive.

I know, but it was worth a try.

I have new wheels to put on and I don't want these hanging around

15" SSIII rims

Cranio:
I have a pair of 15x7 JJ rallys for the bolt-on caps that I don't need. I bought these about a year ago from another member on this site. They are very straight and in good condition, the only unusual thing about them are the bead lock holes. There are holes drilled in the lip area spaced about 8” apart presumably for bead locks or something. These don’t seem like they would cause any problems and will not be visible as the trim ring will cover them completely. The rims didn’t come with any trim rings, bezels or center caps but I could dig up some bezels in the shop. I bought them for my ‘72 convertible build but decided to go with 17” aftermarket rims to clear larger disc brake rotors. I’m just looking to recoup my investment – I’ve got $190 in the pair. See pics below.

Those holes are used for bead anchor screws for wrinkle-wall slicks to keep the tires from spinning on the rims at the low tire pressures. They shouldn't pose a problem for bead seating on a conventional tire. As I noted above, the 15x7 wheels with bolt on centers are pretty rare and priced accordingly, so either expect to pay that much or convert over to all snap-in centers. The snap-in 15x7 wheels were made in much larger quantities over many more years, thus the price difference.
