Spare tire area floor for 1970 Vista Cruiser

The floor for the spare tire on my Vista is all rusted out. I'd like to weld in a solid patch panel than use a fiberglass layup and no one seems to make a patch panel for this area.

If you have one you'd like to sell, pm me and I'll get back to you.

Might try johnfry@comcast.net as he's stripping a VC and I believe that area was in good shape!
He's on here - in Wisc. -

Nope. that's the wrong part. I need the tire shaped recess where the tire resides on the side of the car. Think of the bottom of the wheel well where the spare tire resides. That bottom area is all rusted out.

Thanks John, I'll do that here in the next week or so for you. I'll put a tape measure in the photos for a scale reference.

Damn, I just took some chevy truck wheel tubs to the scrap yard today. You probably could have flipped one upside down and used that.
