I bought a 1964 cutlass convertible that had a carb fire and damaged the hood among other things. I bought the car for my father who turns 65 this year as a surprise. I am a vw guy and didn't realize parts for the car would be so tricky to find. I sold my vw to buy this cutlass. He was stationed during Vietnam and my grandfather sold his 1965 Convertible while my dad was stationed. He never got over it. I want to surprise him, with a running vehicle. Right now I am looking for a carb and a hood for the 64 vert I just got. Anyone out there have a descent hood with trim they wanna sell reasonably...mine has the Oldsmobile script across the front of it, but the chrome center trim is messed up. I live in Michigan. I have a hood , but just to far away here in south Texas . I can help you with the trim and will ship that but sorry not the hood
