2nd time I have gone to the post office and got a price to ship this to someone then they drop off the planet----wasting my time!!!!!!

 

Been there, done that!

 

I use USPS.com; input the origination and destination zip codes, size and weight, and several delivery options appear. Pick the type of service that you want (overnight, parcel select, etc. ), add insurance, and get a firm quote. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy.

Edit: You can also give it to your mail carrier if it isn't over a certain weight.
