Is the roto 5 the transmission found in a 62 Starfire? If so I have one. If I remember right, the dipstick tube is mounted into the pan on these?

I THINK they are the same but I don't believe there is dipstick tube mounting to the pan itself.

Should look like the pan in the attached photo.

I will look tonight. I am almost sure I have one. Where are you at in Illinois? I am in Brazil Indiana, about 20 miles from the line just off of I-70. I can ship also but thought if you were close.... I will look at it and get you pictures tonight.

I have this one. I would rather sell the entire transmission for $40 if you could pick it up. If not I could ship the pan for $25 and shipping.

Humm.... something isnt right. The pic i posted was from an ebay listing (that I just bought and received) that says its for a roto5 and your pic looks exactly like the same pan that I planned on getting too BUT its different from what I have. I have a deeper pan and the two close bolt holes are closer to the bottom of the pan. if you get my meaning.

Could your transmission be a roto10?

After looking at the gaskets online it seems you have (and the picture I listed) is a roto 10... Sigh.... I do appreciate the effort!

OK, After looking it up you are correct. This is a 10. The 5 is like what is in the 61-63 Cutlass, f-85, or Jetfire. I do have an extra one from a 61 f-85. I will look at the pan on it and see what condition it is in.
