Rocker panel retainers

I need 8 rocker panel retainers for 72 Supreme. They are the round ones with screw hole in the middle. I know I can order them repop but maybe someone has some originals to sell

Before I knew I could get repops' I called the local GM dealer and they did a search across TX and I got them from a dealer out of town. They were about 5$ eh after shipping.
Maybe you can check a dealer in your area. If not repos' will work.

Just curious - why would you want old corroded retainers when you could get the new ones? IMO, OEM makes sense if it is in really good condition. The rocker is the one part of the car (as you know from your rebuild) that takes a lot of abuse and fasteners get corroded fast. I know you're not asking for opinion, but I'd go new repop from Fusicks all day. + they have really good warranty. BTW its the same retainer for 71/72 - all Cutlass models with rocker chrome

Good luck, hopefully someone will have what you're looking for.

I bought some from 2blu , The reason I want originals is that everything I bought on my car repro fit like crap. I am tired of it. I can not believe they can not get things right when reproducing parts.
I am not getting rusted out retainers either.
I would rather have old american steel with surface rust than new chineseium steel.
With me luck the new repops would end up being slightly different and the rocker covers would be loose etc.

I understand completey. John's a great guy. If you're getting them from him I know he'll get you the best of what he's got. When you get them, you might want to consider having them re-galvanized or powder coated for extra protection??? From the look of the car in your avatar, you obviously take pride and care of your CS.
