rear yoke olds 98, 1969 model

Hi All,

I have broken my rear yoke, and cannot find parts anywhere..
It is a 12 bolt rear axle, the yoke has 28 splines.

The rear axel is marked with; CFD 8, 393800, and also 293.
I cannot find any other markings, i have brushed all the right side of the rear axel.

Does anybody have any tips about vendors etc?? or any suggestion for way forward..

Thanks for any help

I don't know if anyone carries a new one, if someone else knows they'll speak up. I do have a parts car that may have the correct rear end, but it would be a couple weeks before I have time to get into it to see if the yoke is the same as yours. John

Thanks for that John. Seems like a rare part and hard to find.

Anyway you have a part number? I have not sorted out the lot but remember seeing several NOS boxes marked yoke so maybe I have a new one.

The factory part number for a 1969 98 pinion yoke (flange) is 9778190 .
The book says it fits all 66 thru 70 type "O" axles , except with 330 ,350, or 400 engine and F-85 models .
