Looking for a rear tinted glass for a 70 442 in the LI, NY area.

 

Wow, you know how hard that stuff is to come by?

If you want new, PS Auto Glass has it. 250.00 Double check with them that it's the right glass. I assume you have the fastback? I saved one from the wrecker years ago; and it's got the defogger on glass option, so I also took the front escutcheon and the complete wiring harness to the back. Even got the relay from the front firewall. Anyway, hope they have what you're looking for.

Thanks, I will check it out. Mine is all fogged up in spots. I want to change it. Tried everything to get it off but it seems tro be in the glass.

 

Can you not put aftermarket tint on them?

 

The one I have now is factory tinted but damaged. All a/c cars came tinted. I could tint a clear one but I wanted to get one like the original since I have to change it anyway.

 

Gotcha. Just wanted to make sure you could tint a clear one cause I wanted to do that later. I know the glass seems curved and did not know if that would be a problem tinting.

 

If you know of anyone coming this way,I still have a good stack of rear glass.Not sure what is tinted & what is clear,but I know I have a little of both.

 

Thanks Brian but i don't know anyone heading that way. I think you are about 8 hours from here. Shipping would be tough and expensive I guess.
