Ram Air Flapper
#2
I wish you luck. I was looking for two years and had to give up. What I had to do was to get another complete assemble and take the door and sell what was left. I hope you find one but thought I would add what i had to do.

I have had two of them and they were both junk. They would function as they should but not even close to original. One I had to modify to get it to fit. Both of the ones I had were old reproductions. They may be better now?

I bought a flapper door from Thornton and it did take some work to fit as the mounting holes are off slightly from the original it does work and hardly noticeable unless you measure off an original. I think the door was $50 and it works great.

In my limited experience, reproduction parts of any sort should be considered a base from which to start, in order to attain an acceptable part after *you* make it fit and work right. If ultra fine details of appearance are to be judged.... use an original part.
