Looking to buy NOS Rally I center caps, please no repops

 

 

So why a NOS and not a repo ? You don't see a difference from the out side just numbers on the inside.

I think? and I'm not sure but I believe the repos don't have a little edge at the base of the cap that original pieces do. Its not a real noticeable difference but for the purest and judging some people prefer NOS. Maybe recent repos have this detail? IDK

 

That is true, the first repops were actually made like Chevrolet centers. The original Olds centers did have a band around the bottom of each cap.

 

I have SS1 caps from Thorntons, they have the lip at the bottom. Their very nice IMO.
I know there are some that dont. I think the Thorntons were around $ 50.00 each.

 

I have some. idk if they are ss1 or 2. I bought them as ss1. Do you have a part number?
