Looking for an AM-FM stereo cassette 2700 series delco radio complete with ***** and electrical connectors for an 83 H/O. PM me pics and price shipped if anyone has one available. Has to work.
I think the analog tuner was standard equipment for those models, but are you willing or wanting to go to electronic tuning? Both were available in the 2700 series.
Willing to splurge for the electronic system with integrated CB?
Not sure how close to factory you are wanting to keep it...

Just thinking the standard am-fm cassette. Had enough of the cb after trucking all my adult years. Wanting to keep it pretty much original inside if I can. PO had cut out the dash and put in an aftermarket radio. Right now have the new style delco like in an 84, but have face plate and mounting bracket to put in original style.
Is this the rectangular style?
I will look it seems to me I have one of those.

It is the one with the ***** on opposite ends. In 84 they started with the rectangular style. I need the style that was used prior to the rectangular style. If the tags were still on the radio it would say 2700 series.
What is rare is the ETR versions with the CBs. I have two sets, one with cassette, one with 8-track. After I got them working in 2012, I researched selling prices and they were in the 400-500 range.

If you happen to find a radio that has a tape problem, I can work you a good deal to repair it, as I have repaired many 80's Delco radios. The tape decks have their unique problems but most are easily fixable.
