Push-on Retainers/Clips - for 1970 442 Arm Rest Chrome Plastic Backing Plate

Does anyone have any of these "Clips/Retainers" for Sale?

They hold the Chrome Plastic Backing Plate for the Arm Rest to the Door Panel.

You might check with CO member John McNeil (2blu442). He has lots of parts cars and has really helped me out when I needed a hard to find part like these armrest base clips. Send him a PM.

Just a thought, as I ran into the same thing with my '68 and '69. Devise another method of holding the plastic backing plate to your door panel...because...if you use the original fasteners, once they are on they won't be coming off easily (if at all) if you need to remove the plastic plates from the door panels for any reason. I notched the tabs on the back of the panel and used a large paper clip mounted in the notches vertical to the tab to hold the plastic backing plate in place. The tabs are in a place where no one will ever see them. I found my method has worked for both cars. As well, I'm sure others on this site have devised even better methods than me. I just didn't like the idea of ruining the plastic plates trying to remove them from the door panels if it ever came to that (it hasn't yet!).
