I have a couple of pics on phone I could post on here but cannot find an advanced section or post pic link. Do I need more posts and link will activate or am I missing something?? Thanks Steve.

 

Yes, you would think that, since so many people want to post photos, the designers of this site would take that to heart, and there would be a simple, easy-to-understand "post photos" button in an obvious place.

But no. When you are composing a posting, scroll down and find the "manage attachments" section under "attach files" and upload your photos there. Note the size limitation which tends to cause grief as well.

I don't know if there is a way to post directly from a smartphone. That concept is rather 2012/2013 in nature while the technology that runs this site seems to be stuck in about 2005.

 

Hi. I did have a look but could see nothing. I'm on a few rod sites and some of those.... The more posts/time your on, the more your allowed to do I.E enough posts allows you to post links and pics and so on. Stop spammers etc.

They're pretty generous on here from what I've seen about allowing newbies to post pics. If you use the site's photo-posting feature, you're limited to five photos per post. That's true for everyone.

But, yes, as you say, it looks like you need to do it from a computer, or, at least, a smartphone that you're using as a computer. I don't see a way to "share" directly a photo on a smartphone with this site in just one or two button presses.

 

Ill have a look on laptop. See what that's like. I'm getting it brought in today. Cheers steve
