Question

I have a few questions. A/c or not? It would make a difference on the heater, etc. Tinted or clear door glass (a/c or not), wiper mechanism- as in transmission and arms, "heater unit, pipes etc"- (ductwork?), full dash board (color- dash pad, lower dash and gauges)? If you could elaborate on these items, it would be easier to get what you need. I should have everything that you listed. Thanks, Bob.

Hi bob
Sorry i should have elaborated on what i need. My car does have air con, if you have a system for sale il buy it off you.
I need the complete wiper mechanism-transmission and arms as currently the car has none.
The glass is clear.
I need everything for the heater, duct work aswell as again the car currently has nothing.
I need a complete dashboard, all i have is the metal framework so dash pad, lower dash and gauges needed. I would like the dash in black please
Also can i ask do you have door handles- inside and out, window winders, windscreen washer jets, washer bottle and hoses and interior lights. Sorrt to make the list longer :-).
Thankyou in advance
Kind regards
Justin

Saw you need a dash pad, I have a tan dash pad, with uncut wood grain, the vent operating switches, and headlight switch. It has a hair line crack but is not visible when the chrome trim piece is put around the edge. If you are interested in it I can get you pictures.

As far as I know, tinted glass was a mandatory option with A/C in 1970.

Maybe online?

Thepartsplace.com, fusik.com, inlinetube.com. , supercarsunlimited.com. Have you tried any of these to see if they will ship to you? Have you tried searching online for cutlass parts? Lots of stuff out there. Good luck and some members on here may ship overseas. Don't give up just yet. I got something shipped from Canada and it was not as difficult as I thought it would be. Careful how you pay though with private sellers(non olds forum). I used Pay Pal.

No worries. I just didn't want you to pay the freight across the pond and find you'd got the wrong parts.

Hi gary m. Yea ive used online companies for parts before, replacement panels, front end rebuild bolts etc. Will order new suspension online as 19 years of my car being sat in a field before i got her has killed its bushings etc but there will be some quality second hand parts i can get. I havent given up on her, come hell or high water il have her fixed, even if i have to swim to the usa to get parts ha ha. I blame you americans, if you didnt build such special cars then us english wouldnt have the sleepless nights part finding ha ha :-)

Thankyou eric. Your concern is much appreciated. Glad people are keeping me on the right track :-)
