These would not be 7 inch rods.

Are you needing these for an early 400/425 engine? If so that detail might help people know if they might have them or not.

Ya know, it would have been more helpful to tell us if you want 7" rods for the 1965-67 BBO motors or the 1959-64 394s. Both used 7" rods.

Have a set that has the pin end slightly enlarged, already cleaned and big end trued from a 67 400.

Are you sure you need (or want) the rods to be sized .990" on the small end which is big block Chevy wrist pin size. Factory Oldsmobile rods are sized on the small end for a .980" wrist pin. I do have a set of 1967 7" factory Olds rods available which have been magnafluxed, beam polished and shotpeened and have had the big end resized with SPS rod bolts, side clearanced, and bronze bushed on the small end for Chevy .990" wrist pins. Send me a PM if you want them.

So are you asking which ones I need or you telling me which one you have?
Are you saying they are the same 7" connecting rod or are you saying they are different 7" connecting rod?
Thanks

The 7" rods on used on the 394 are NOT the same as the 7" rods used in the 400/425. Both are Oldsmobile 7" rods, but only one will work for your application. Do we REALLY need the drama and mystery? Would it kill you to tell us which engine family you need the rods for? You're asking people to help you and making it as difficult as possible for them to provide you useful info. Good plan.

What's the difference between these early 400/425 and these late 400/425?

Only person making this difficult for us is you!

If you have available Oldsmobile 7" connecting rods post detailed pictures along with detailed description and a price.
Your comments need to have complete information in the form of a statement or a question.
We are all waiting on what you have to offer.
So far just more drama.

Have you tried contacting anyone in the Oklahoma Olds Club? They are in the OKC area and have a FB page.

Are you having to search your vast manual collection or is all this from just Googled information?
Your inadequate engine information started off as if all this was from memory.
You had all day now just long pause.
What's the difference in the two??
What do you have??
Drama and Dramatic!!
Over compensation and inadequate!!
Anything else would just be desperation.
Good luck in your future conversation.
Bye

Sitting on the sidelines and watching this develop —-
Joe P and Fun71 most specifically—- you both have gone way way beyond the call of duty, and both lended your expertise in this area to help this nitwit….

It certainly sounds that this Ridingonwheels doesn’t deserve your help… It needs to get the wrong ones 4 times and waste months of its life before it wakes up to reality…. ( must be a McDonalds floor sweeper reject…..)

Just my honest opinion……

Ridingonwheels —- you are absolutely 1000 % clueless as to just how vastly intelligent Joe P. Is…. you don’t deserve his expertise…..

Two day later and a lot of comments.
Not one picture of the post topic.
Not one description of a sellers available items.
Some are actually informative to the topic. Thank You!!
Most are complaining, superiority complex and desperate crys for attention.
Please leave out response containing gratification and who's on top.
Politics and politician are in everything.
Is this a robot member making robot comments?

There is no reason for you to bash long time knowledgeable members for asking legitimate questions. You're attitude is making it very hard for anyone to help you.

Because some people come from other sites where bashing and bad manners are the norm not realizing this site is different. Hopefully he'll come around.

Here you go......

Set of 8 original 1965 7" 425 rods including pins. These were out of a motor that had never been apart since the factory.

Thank you very much!!
I really appreciate the picture and the description!!
How much are you asking?
Payment well be sent through PayPal with business invoice which will insure all parties.
PayPal insures sellers from scammers sending fake Money orders, fake checks, fake cashers checks and fake cash apps. Where the scammers retrieve sent money after sellers have sent the item.
PayPal insures buyers from scammers sellers sending rocks in place of purchased items. Item that are in worst or unusable condition described as useable or new. Also scammmer sellers who just take buyers legitimate money orders and run.
If posting on Ebay is easier for you send me the item number.
