Willing to drive for pick up, as long as its reasonable distance. I am located in NJ.

edit: I am also looking for a driveshaft that goes with TH400 - both parts needed for a 72 cutlass.

Well its not driving distance I live in WI but i have a turbo 400 from a 70 442. I bought it from a guy for a project i was doing that is now gone, he said he parted out a running driving 70 442 and i saw all the other 442 stuff he had. But i cant say if it was working or not i was going to have it redone anyway. Just an option for you if you cant find one close to you. $375 plus the shipping.

I have a short shaft one I took out of a 442 but don't know if it was original or not. I took it out several years ago and its been stored inside ever since. Located in Baltimore. I was saving it in case I needed a core for my race car. I am in NC trans is in Baltimore.

baltimore is a fair drive, where in NC are you? I lived in Durham and went to college in Greenville.

Was the trans working, any issues? let me if you have confirmed the code and that it belongs to a 442. Pics would be nice to have.
