Need Fasteners---Swapping Muncie in place of TH350
I am looking for fasteners for a transmission swap. Car is a 1970 Cutlass with a 350 CI, TH350 Trans. Installing M20 Muncie 4 speed.
Need the following:
Transmission to Bellhousing bolts
Bellhousing to block bolts (will my TH350 bolts work for this?)
Flywheel to crank bolts
Pressure plate to flywheel bolts
Is the transmission mount the same for a TH350 and a Muncie 4 speed? Will the bolts work and the mount?
Am I missing anything?
Also looking for U-bolts for attaching u-joint to a true Chevy 12 bolt yoke.
Have already purchased a conversion u-joint for attaching 70 Olds 350/350 driveline.
Thank you.

my thoughts
transmission to bell housing bolts
these need to have a 1/2 " shank b4 the threads and lock washers
buy new .. grade 5 .. buy 2.5 and shorten to 2.25 I think is the trick
I can doubble check my originals ... just like your bumper bolts to frame
same size but you need the shank to hold fast in tranny case just like the bellhousing bolts.... I have originals but they are more $$ than aftermarket
bellhousing to block are the same ... they need to have the shoulder also
to fit snug in the case
flywheel to crank bolts.... this is touchy ... is your flywheel new or has it been turned ? head height of the crank bolt to the clutch disc springs are the major factor here ... BUY NEW !! ... from fussik ...you dont want somebody elses retorqued used ones with rounded corners... some one here will supply you good info ... my muncie cars are GTO's so I canthelp there ..
pressure plate bolts ..... buy new .... they have a long er shank to fit the flywheel tight ... these are specialty bolts also ... BUY NEW
t/350 and muncie are the same .. bolts also ... bolt , lock washer, big washer,
the 400 has a wider pattern into the tranny ... buy a good new one
I have a nice pair of original 12 bolt u bolts and washers and nuts 10.00

Didn't find any bolts at Fusick. The Parts Place has:
Trans to bell housing
Bell housing to block
Flywheel to crank
Pressure plate to flywheel
If you wouldn't mind taking a look, I would appreciate it greatly. Thx
I am also waiting to hear from SuperCars

No, actually they don't. The two dowel pins are what locates the bellhousing concentrically to the crank centerline and carry the shear load. Because of this, you DO NOT want the bolts to be snug in the bellhousing holes. They should have clearance. These bolts take tension only, not shear.
