If you want stock side mirrors, Fusick makes nice reproductions for about $65/each plus shipping. Driver side is part number SM6865L, the passenger side part number is SM6865R. See at www.fusick.com. They also have the molded mirror base gaskets, part number MGS682, same gasket for both sides, about $7/each.

Randy C. - Thanks, I've seen those but they are different than my current ugly rectangular driver mirror. I like the Fusick ones better (oval shaped) so I think I'll order those since I assume they fit or they wouldn't sell them for a 69.

dnmfranco - Much appreciated but I'll be buying a matching pair from Fusick.

I ordered the Fusick mirrors and they are not correct for my 442. The closest I can see on the net are for a Chevelle but they are not exact either but much closer to the original the the Fusick ovals. Still looking for both mirrors. Hopefully I can returns the ones I've ordered.

I'm not sure if it's because mine is Canadian or if I have an aftermarket mirror but it's a rectangular mirror and the holes are drilled such that I can't use the ovals because the screw hole for the base clip goes past the oval mirror base. Thanks anyway.

nothing to do w Canadian as they came with the same mirrors, you have aftermarket mirrors.
In 68/69 A bodies there were two different mirrors offered for the driver side - remote and non remote(clam shape ). Passenger side which also clam shape, was an option as well as driver side remote. These were the only two style mirror offered in 69. They are not reproducing remote driver side mirror.

Fusicks sells the both driver side and passenger side clam shape style (non remote) which is correct for your car assuming that's the route you want to go.

Thanks guys, it turns out you are correct again as usual. The mirror on it was not stock. I've since installed both clam shaped mirrors and other than a scar not covered up by the new mirrors they look great.
