Need 72 Cutlass Supreme fuel gauge cluster

Need Fuel Gauge Help
Can anyone help me figure this out. I have a 1972 Olds Cutlass Supreme all original. The gas gauge is always peggeg out past full. I though it was the ground off of the front of the sending unit. But I checked/cleaned that and it didn't work. I have changed the gauge as well. It did not help. If you have had this problem and fixed it please send me a message.
