I'm looking for a 66 442 hood that is not rusted out, top or underside. The hood that came on my 66 442 was a Custlass hood with the spear. I would have used it but there is a slight amount of rust on the underside and it would need to be fixed and then fill the holes for the spear.
I live in Northern Calif and was hoping to deal with someone near my area. I would like to do a swap or just buy your hood outright.
My hood is completely straight without any dings. Pics of the rusted area if you want to trade..

That hood is rare, hard to find, therefore expensive if in good shape. I have only one spare and it is NOS so would not be priced for a driver quality use. The cheapest F85s also used this hood; all others had the chrome strip going front-to-back. As you can imagine, you will have to focus on the desert southwest to find one that is still good. Junkyards in the more remote towns might have one priced reasonably. Another option is to have a good body shop MIG shut the holes and finish inside and outside.
