Muncie M20 question

I am looking for a M20 to go in my 67 Cutlass, do I need to look for any specific GM transmission? A lot of vendors out there but I trust you guys. Thanks

I have an excellent original from a 1972 that I bought from a well respected member here. This unit still wears the original ID tag and inspector's stamp. 1972 units have a fine spline input shaft and the large output shaft. PM me if interested.

The 71-73 M-20 units are the best of the M-20s.

Any Muncie will work fine, unless you drag race it don't worry about the early ones. I just picked up a M-20 with the date code of November 1967 if you are interested in it.

Its pretty much common knowledge among rebuilder, early Muncie is 21 1/4" long, late Muncie is 22" long...

Hope this helps... Crash
