1108389 pics

pics 1108389 This starter has been remanned by Delco before I got it. It had a delco reman tag on it. The fields were changed by Delco reman to super high torque. They are not the original fields. The original design fields cost about half of the super hi torque fields, so I kept the ones that came from delco reman in. I do not have the bolt for the side of the starter. I thought I did, but I can't find it.

What specifically did you do to it during the rebuild?

Disassembled. Removed fields from case. Cleaned. Glass bead blast parts. Sealed inside of field case clear. Clear spray aluminium drive end. Turned armature commutator. Reinstalled fields. Field case and end cap painted semi gloss black. New drive, bushings brushes and solenoid. Reassembled and test.
