Not enough info.

OEM 3.23 & 3.42 gears use two distinct carriers.

Aftermarket Richmond 3.42s will work on the OEM 3.23 carrier.

Which are you after?

I will take what I can find and probably change the carrier if need be. I'm not sure right now what I have just know it open and stock on a 350 2 bbl car . A new carrier seems easier to find then the gears either that or I'll have to change out the whole thing to a corp clip togetwhat I want.

May have something

I bought a 323 set from West Coast Differentials for my 10 bolt. The gear set I got is #GM-8.5-323 and install kit # IK GM8.5E. On the WCD website you can check if these will work for you. They are new in box, I paid $401.10 for them and then found out I have that gear in car already. If they will work on your car I will sell them for $300.00 shipped to you in Michigan.

That crown & pinion is for a 10 bolt & will not work in a Type O 12 bolt.

Thanks

Did not know O type was 12 bolt. Sorry. West Coast differentials may have what he needs but not cheap and if possible go with the OEM gears because they (WCD) told me those are less likely to be noisy like some aftermarket gear sets. Good luck.

Do you know if they are OEM or Richmond? (ie for which carrier?).

If he still has them they are OEM. They were listed here in the parts for sale section a month or two ago. Look back through them and it should be there. I am sure he will see this thread soon.
