I am wanting to find a very nice set of original 70 442 grills. A crack or two is ok and maybe a small chip or two but no big missing parts. A little sagging in the middle is also ok as long as it is not real bad. Willing to pay up for a great set. No repops considered, must be originals.

 

You would rather have a cracked set other than the repo's ? Lots of 70 442 have the repo's installed and you could never tell. I would buy the repo's in a heart beat.

 

If the hood is open I can spot the repops from 50 feet away or more. With the hood closed I can tell about 5 feet away. They are great for 90% of the cars out there but they are the absolute last resort for me. I can fix cracks, I cannot make the repops look good. That and it is the thrill of the hunt to find the originals. These will go in an original paint 442 convertible 4 speed car. This car is the true definition of "survivor car" but the grills got broken while in storage.

 

Broken and cracked and missing pieces are out there good luck in your search.

This car needs both sides but either side we can get would be good. Hopefully it is the right side if you still have it, that is the worst one
