looking for 68 cutlass convertible seats

Hi. Im looking for 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass S Convertible seats. Front split bench and rear. Need to have good frames and springs at the very least. I can get padding and covers. Interested in redone seats, I can recover to my color. Thanks.

Lee.

Glasgow Mt. You have the seats? What are you asking? Would you be willing to ship?

yes i have both...id probably ship if you do all the work..and set it up..your 13 hrs from me

let me think on it...the back seat can go fedex..no issues...the front needs to be skidded or taken apart..it can go in a flat screen tv box..ive shipped a few..and go fedex too..problem is its expensive to ship big stuff...and i dont want to do a bunch of work and shipping kills the deal

prob what needs to happen is the seats need to go on a skid together and go truck freight

i have 2 68 seats for the front..a standard split bench and a split bench with a fold down arm rest

super nice stuff the seat frames are stll shiney metal..these came out of cars years ago and have been inside in storage for ever...not rusty junk yard stuff...back seat it very good..a touch of surface rust on the springs..because of a mouse, but still nice stuff in storage forever..not junk yard parts

Im interested in the standard front split bench and rear seats. What color are they? Not a big deal as I will most likely recover to match my original color anyway. What are you asking for them before shipping? Any way you send me some pics? If the price is right on the seats, I dont mind paying shipping. I really just want some nice original seats.

Thanks again.

Lee.

I haven't had a bench in a 68 since 1981 but I didn't remember it as a split bench. The whole seat moved forward. It had an armrest that folded into the seat back.

My seat moves forward and back together on the tracks. The bottom is one piece. The backs are split 50/50. You can only tilt one forward at a time as they tilt in toward the middle. No center folding console or arm rest on the seat.

Anywho, I think I found a set for the front. Now just looking for a set for the back.

So, Mark I think we are making this shipping easier by the minute. Just let me know what you want for the rears and we will go from there. Also, I found a dash pad, so good to go there. Things are coming together. Thanks for all the help, gentlemen.

FWIW there are three different width rear seats so make sure you measure your old one

Thank you very much, Mike. I did not know that. Rear back is measuring about 48" and rear bottom is roughly 50"

Mark, do you have this seat?

As long as you know it was from a convertible it will work. The rear convertible seat sizes are all the same from 68-72
