Looking For 5 Restored SSI or SSII
#2
I have some SS IIs, all bolt on centers. how nice do they have to be? What color do you need? The '68-'70 grey ones or body color? Mine are all rusty and would have to be sandblasted and repainted. I was thinking about doing some over and could throw the Olds wheels in with the rest. Shipping is expensive. Personally I would recommend prowling Carigslist and pick up a set in person. Then have them done over.

Where are you? I have five originals (bolt on caps) that don't need to be restored. They are complete with F/70 and L/60 14" Goodyear small RWL Belted. I'm in Maryland. Oh yea, they are the Grey color. Shipping will be quite expensive with tires on the rims.

I have a complet5e set of SSII's that came off of a disc brake 71, 442. They are absolutely straight, rust free, unless you consider surface rust from washing them and letting them dry rust, and have all 20 stainless inserts. I even have all 4 center caps. 3 of the caps have been painted black and the 4th cap is an NOS in the box cap, never installed before. I personally know the car they came off of and it was a 68000 mile stored 442 that we are in the process of doing a full restoration on and the owner has chosen to go with 15in SSIII wheels instead.
You can email me at airvegas@msn.com
They are VERY reasonable especially considering the NOS cap come with them. Shipping is not a problem either. We ship all the time and almost every day.

The one pictured is an SSIII wheel. It's been restored, powder coated with reproduction center caps and the best used trim rings I could find.
I have a set of SSIIs done up the same way. They are on my 1972 Cutlass Supreme, and let me say, it might have been better had I just bought a complete set of reproductions wheels from Jegs. Between sand blasting, powder coating, and buying the center caps, I have a lot of money in them.
