Looking for a 4 bbl intake for a 394

As the title reads......also, did anyone produce a single 4 bbl intake in aluminum for this engine? I have a friend who says Offenhauser did but I've not seen one only dual quads or trips.

Oh, the engine is an otherwise stock 1961 2 bbl low comp that I'm adding dual exhaust to right now.

Does anyone know if a stock manifold will clear one of those finned aluminum covers over the valley?

Thanks!

I have only seen stock iron intakes for single quads, and those always have the smaller throttle bore holes and mounting bolt pattern of the 4-jet. You would need an adapter and perhaps opening of the four holes to run a Holley, etc.

There was a deck height increase, hence you can't use the 3x2, etc. from the old 371.

If that doesn't work out, I have a stock 4-bbl intake for the 394.

Thumbs up

I'd just like to thank MrOlds88 for helping out another forum member to locate parts. Super guy to deal with.
