If you really need a '8254, that carb was only used on the 1968 W30 cars built after engine number 8342491. It was a mid-year change to fix problems with the original '8251 used on those cars.

I'll note the above (Post #1) & Thread title are clear examples why the OP of a thread should have the ability to CHANGE the TITLE of the thread they created. This is nothing more than a permissions/rights provision of the CO website Administrator/Owner template. Should I be annoyed and complain about it? Yes, it happens often on this site yet it's never escalated to the correct LLC dba Internet Brands Administrator/Owner. There is no logical reason each and every time this occurs a Moderator should have to make these changes. Escalate this to LLC dba Internet Brands Administrator/Owner to request the Thread OP have the ability to change the "TITLE" of the thread - NOT simply Post #1 and each succeeding post. Highly peculiar and unnecessarily evil, IMO. It's a permission/right, it's the click of a button. Why would the OP "not" be allowed to change the title of the post they created? Makes no sense to me, I don't get it.
