Left hand thread lug nuts

I need five left hand thread lug nuts for my 62 Starfire. Apparently the driver's side wheel studs are left hand thread and the pass, side studs are right hand thread. I also need a jack base for the same car

Coker Tire sells them. You may want to check with some of the Chrysler vendors as they were used on early 1960's Mopars

I'm sure Dorman carries them - you just need to know the size.

Also, i need a 62 jack base.

Craig, are your left-handed lug nuts factory OEM nuts? Are they new or used? I need a set of 8 OEM lug nuts in the stock size for my 63 Cutlass (7/16", 20 gauge). Also I could use some OEM right handed ones as well. How much are you asking for them? I am in Poland so shipping would best be via USPS in a small flat rate box. Thanks, Mike.

Craig does not visit the site regularly and does not have a computer.

You need to call him on the telephone to confirm availability and to order.

All of his parts are NOS, as far as I know.

Eric, thank you so much for your suggestion. I will give him a call first thing tomorrow. I can't drive my Cutlass without these lug nuts (unless I replace the studs with right-handed ones.).

The LH thread lug nuts are Dorman P/N 611015, $0.61 each from RockAuto.com. The RH thread lug nuts are Dorman P/N 611014, also $0.61 each from RockAuto.

The price goes down to $0.52 each if you buy them in a pack of 25.

Thank you so much, Joe! I found them and also some sold by Raybestos. How do the Dorman ones and those from Raybestos compare quality-wise to OEM (Oldsmobile or GM, etc)? The ones I have on my car now are aftermarket nuts and a few have their threads sheared off. So they are very poor quality. And of course I'd like to avoid that problem in the future, by buying OEM quality nuts..

Tahnnks!

Try the Dorman web site. I believe they are available from them?

Any auto parts store should be able to order them if they don't have them in stock.

Of course, unless you really, REALLY care about originality, why not just put in RH thread studs?

Because it's more than double the work of just changing the lug nuts.

Oh, Duh! The OP wrote "lug nuts" and I read "wheel studs".

I went to Auto Zone 2 weeks ago to purchase 1/2 20 LH nuts... There were none on the shelf and was told they could not order them... Not saying much for the employees... LH Nuts are listed all over the internet... Also, any tire shop, for the most part, will order them for you...

Dorman P/N 98909.1

The Advance Auto closest to me has them on the shelf for $0.79 each.
