L69 “tripower” intake

Hello everyone, I’m looking for a l69 intake. I will obviously pay shipping. It needs to be in working condition. I don’t need the carbs or anything, just the intake. If your selling everything as a package then I’d probably buy the whole set up depending on price.

I know it’s a long shot but I figured I’d throw it out there and see if anyone was sitting on one. I’m building a 1953 Super 88 with a 455 And I want to give it a little “wow” factor.

thank you

I haven't seen a review of an actual installation of the repo manifold. I did see where a guy said the ports had a poor match. Again, just repeating what I saw posted.

I wondered about that from the pictures.

When you see the feedback on the 70-72 W-30 aluminum intakes, leaves a lot to be desired. I know the l69 carbs they sell are not correct. The end carbs are 1/8" too small.

Do your self a favor and buy an original. If that's what 66 has buy it from him. The further you stay away from the Parts Place the better off you will be.

66 is selling an entire set up and he has it very fairly priced. I’m planning on running efi on it instead of carbs so I’m just waiting to see if anyone is selling just the intake. Primarily because it should be cheaper to buy just the intake and secondly as to not waste a full set of carbs. These things are very rare and I don’t want to break up an original full setup.

the build I’m doing now is a kinda pro street/touring style car. It’s a 1953 super 88 that has an art Morrison chasis underneath it. I am keeping it all Olds though and no LS swap! I put a really nice built 455 in it but I want to give it a little wow factor for the shows. I think an olds style tri power with EFI accomplishes that.

I have an original L69 for sale, Intake is very nice and have all three carbs, the front and rear carbs are correct the center is not. Carbs will need to be rebuilt but all move freely. $1500 for the package.

Parts

Damn Guy . are you tryin to say that buy th time you message their parts to actualty fit , like every oem part does , & use whatever voodoo to make it look correct & if by chance you obtain that , you still wake up in middle of night cause ya know that inferior part is on your car , well if you must go around spewin th trueth , careful round th fat chicks at grocery store....
had to considder what I would take for mine.. ...next 68 442 is $1500....not enough for intake...if I parted it out & got max value of every part & had someone do labor /sales /shipping for free....could be worth it....na..
I get a comforting feeling knowing that th ability to snap th axle off at th flange is within reach should I decide to want to do such a thing.
.
thought I got a wow but dont c it here yet....whats realy impressive is what spinning wheel / tire drum - flange does to q/p - trunk floor on its way to wherever its gunna go
...& differential shock mount bracket gets ground away to shock....
Word to wise & rest of ya too
Strange axles & tri carbs compliment each other nicely
Line of paint all way down axle can tell of twist & let you know your future should you choose to reuse it
A q /p is a terrible thing to waste....

I was the one who mentioned about doing a review. I bought a Parts Place intake. Not going into detail but basically they are '50 footers' if you understand the terminology. They are serviceable and will work but in no way will pass for a real L69 intake.
