Jack Haggerty of Chicago License Plate Frames?!
Anybody have any "Jack Haggerty" OLDS License Plate frames laying around for sale or trade?? (It was a huge and long-time Olds Dealer in NW Chicago...my Uncle bought his '81 Ninety-Eight there brand new.) ANY Memrobila from there would be interesting to hear about. Thanks!
I'd stop by his son's place in Oak Lawn.

COOL! Great idea! Thanks!! (Since I moved out of Chicago in the late 80s I never "kept track" of what happened to Jack H. and when I'd see "Mike Haggerty" I always WONDERED if it was a family relation or what...THANKS to you now I KNOW!!
I bought my Solstice from Haggerty Pontiac in Oak Lawn in October of 2005 when they first came out. I talked to the parts guys to see what happened to the Olds parts when they closed down Jack Haggerty Olds. One of the old timers said a lot of them were just thrown out.
Yeah, BUMMER! SO COMMON from all the stories we hear...IF only we could all get a "NET CALL" to come on over BEFORE they trashed so many valuable parts, literature and trinkets etc. (NOT only do we need "GOOD" UPS Drivers who alert us apparently but also GOOD "Trash Men" too!
)

Hi,
Are you still looking for memorabilia from Jack Haggerty Olds? I have a cool old songbook titled "Sing-A-Long With JACK." It that was an advertising item and mailer from the dealer -- probably from the 1960s or 1970s. Let me know if you are interested in buying it for $5. Thanks.
