Items I looked for now found

I didn't know where to put this info since I started in this forum. I had no luck finding the blind bolts holding the mirror on my 1970 Cutlass HT, now a 442 clone, so I'm sharing my solution, I got some 1/4-28 allen screws and brazed a jam nut on the opposite end of the allen recess, they work great attaching the mirror from the outside.
Also, I really wanted a tach and clock in the car.......well the originals are pricey and then to have someone put a quartz clock in was also pricey......so at the risk of offending the purists, I found that a late 70's to late 80's Trans Am had a nice looking tic toc tach w/ quartz clock, so I trimmed the TA clock face and attached a piece, about an inch or so, of an Olds fuel gauge attach piece with a couple indicator lights and they work great........this is an FYI for anyone.
My car is about done........putting in 3.73's and an Eaton posi in my 1971 Olds 10 bolt Tuesday, should work well with the 700R4.

Thanks Chris.........the tachs with quartz clocks can be picked up for usually under $100 and has been working great with my HEI distributor.
