Keep in mind that the trunk lid on a 4 door is the same as the convertible for your 68 Cutlass/442. Maybe that will widen your search.

Trunk lid

Thanks.
I found a good used one for $395, or a repop for $400.
Crazy expensive in my book.
Anyone know of a lead for me?

My '68 is coming along.
I am having the Jetaway replaced this week with a BnM TH350 with the Tork Master T C. This should help put the new Edelbrock 4 barrel and intake and Dual Flowmasters to good use.

Where did you find a repop convertible ( or hardtop for that matter) 68 deck lid?

I have a cheap one thats solid on top but a little weak underneath for cheap but you're a whole country away from me.

1968 Cutlass and 442 Convertible Trunk Lids

These trunk lids are made as original, in the original GM tools, and fit perfectly.

I would make absolutely sure they stock this before ordering one. They used to list 4 speed console bases YEARS before they came out in production.

BTW I think someone makes a hardtop fiberglass one

X2. Yes I didn't notice Bro Par at first, then I threw up in my mouth, just a little. Bad karma there. Thanks!
