I don't know what it's called....

Hi,

I need to replace the cover which is beneath the ' trunklidspring' . Problem is that I don't know how that part is called. Does anyone knows the correct name of the cover and my second question is if anyone knows where I can find the cover?

My car is an Omega '73 Hatchback.

Thanks en greetings from the other side of the ocean.

Marc.

Hi,
thanks for your reply. And now I also know that the ' trunklidspring' is called a tortion rod. Next thing for me is to search for 2 new boots.

if I recall the hatchbacks used gas shocks not torsion rods, not sure what it is called but I would guess cargo trim

look @ eBay here is a sample of 197* Nova hatch* search

http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=197...286.m270.l1313

93 hits, 1 trim - it's out there

set up and save a search, you will get emails daily when something new gets listed

here's 23 hits on same but Omega instead of Nova
