Hood Parts Needed 1970 Cutlass 442

I'm in the need for chome on front edge of 1970 Hood passenger side (hockey stick) goes across front edge and onto the tooth
I know I can buy new but don't want new
If you have a pair I will buy both !

Also if any one is scrapping a hood, I need the latch area to install on my fiberglass hood

Thanks,
Chris

Chris, I've got a 1971 hood that's wrinkled. The secondary latch is on the wrong side compared to the 1970. But if you don't mind cutting and welding things I could cut off whatever you want.

I would like 4-6" around the latch section, and safety catch.
How much shipped Mansfield PA 16933 ?
Thanks,
Oggie-Chris

Not trying to hijack, but could you maybe start another thread and show the process of installing the secondary latch on an aftermarket fiberglass hood. I am getting ready to do this too. Thanks.

Hi Chris
Sorry, I've not been on the site much lately. Too much going on at the moment. I'm glad Brian was able to help you out, and with the correct year too! That will be a lot easier than doing a cut and weld from a 1971 hood.

John,
No problem ! I understand, and yes this part will be easier to use.
One of these days will get started on my car. just had my youngest graduate High school, finally got all that out of the way now can make room to blow the cutlass apart.
