So after looking and putting money aside for 2 years, I bought a 72 cutlass convertible on ebay. The guy had over 10 cars sold, with almost 100% rating. Sadly I learned my lesson, I didnt go look at the car, just went on the feedback and photos. It is a driver, thats all I expected.I had the car shipped down, was actually happy with it, until i drove it with my kids about 2 miles and the motor blew a connecting rod. The seller said he'd provide me a replacement engine, i drove 12 hours round trip to Maine, and he gives me a useless Pontiac block!
Found no help thru ebay, they dont cover cars over 20 years old (FYI-fine print! in their buyer protection!!)

So Im screwed and looking for a running 350, just so I can get car going...any thing viable (later years, who cares) would help tremendoulsly

whats the old auction #. shouldnt be too hard to find a running engine, G/L!

 

where are you located? central mass i know at least one 350 olds,it's fairly fresh rebuild but those motors are still around.dare i say a 307 is an option too?
