I have a 57 olds that needs a harmonic balancer, anyone have a good used one? Any help greatly appreciated.

It's there for the benefit of the crankshaft. If the problem is that the ring has lost its bond, it's best to repair it. The worst that can happen is a broken crankshaft. The balancer can be repaired. I did mine myself. If you don't have the knowledge or talent hire someone to do it for you. Unless the ring is in place properly it is difficult to time the engine's ignition. Unless it has been rebuilt, a used one is likely just as sad as yours.
