Anybody have a lock and latching mechanism that will fit a 1965 442 glove box?
Had great success with a previous parts search, thanks to 2blu442, so I'm going back to the well.

you can widen your search because there are other years and models that will work,i do know it's the same as 65/66 88/98 except for the chrome nut that holds the lock looks different.pretty sure 64-67 cutlass too.i may have one and will take a look.

Thanks to all who replied. I'm a bit embarrassed to say I found the missing glove box hardware a box of parts that i had missed before. The picture shows the closed glove box lid,

Take the glove box door to a locksmith, and he can release the tumbler, and make you a key. If you still have the trunk lock, the same key will fit it also.
