Generators & Voltage Regulators

Generators are NOT available NEW -- they have to be --- REBUILT ----

Because of the sheer weight, your best off looking for an electrical rebuilder by you there in New jersey.... there must be one nearby,,,,,

If truly not , I do have a rebuilder near me on Long Island, and I have NEW 6 volt Voltage Regulator -- including 1 last N.O.S. ++ DELCO ++ if you want to get wild!!!!!!!!!!!!

Call me, if need be -- Craig -- 516 - 485 - 1935... Long Island, New York

I will look. I show the numbers for that year as 1102775 778 780. If you know the numbers please let me know. I show that to be a 45 amp 6v. Is this what you are after?

You might consider getting a copy of Hemmings Motor News. There should be plenty of rebuilders listed.

It is hard to say without taking it apart and testing the parts to see what is needed. A rebuild is usually between $80.00 and $120.00. If the armature needs replaced, I think It would more than double unless you supply the parts. I can give an accurate price if I have the genny in hand. If the windings are not bad, the price would be reasonable. If the windings are bad hang on to your shorts as prices for windings have gone through the roof.
