Don't ask me why but someone stole the gear shift **** off my 1976 Cutlass Salon and I need to purchase one. It's been a while so I don't remember exactly what it looks like but I found this pic on the web and think it's the correct ****.
If anyone has an extra or knows where I can find one I'd appreciate hearing from you.

That picture is correct. Unfortunately difficult to find. Check e-bay. Maybe why yours was stolen. Used one come up now and then. I have been looking for a NOS one for years. Found one a while back but at $300 it was a little too much. All I really need is the top insert, mine is worn like the picture. If anyone else has a source let me know.

Thank you for the reply. Looks very good, but with the small crack might not be what I am looking for. I seem to have been bitten the perfect bug. Looking for NOS. I had a very good car to start with 100% complete. However I did change a lot of parts that were worn or the finish was off. plus hunting for that elusive part is half the fun.
